australian immigration informationOne of the reasons why Australia is a better place to live in is its geographical location. It is so much unique compared to other nations. A country, an island and a continent. Australia's geography is extremely diverse ranging from snow capped mountains like what is found on Australian Alps and Tasmania, and up to the large deserts, tropical and temperate forests. You may not read it in many Australian immigration information you have read, but Australia's geography really contributes to the flooding immigration to the country.

The Land Down Under is not really in isolated island. It got neighbors like Indonesia, East Timor, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and New Zealand. They just look alone in the map because the other islands' sizes were embarrassed by Australia's. The country is the six largest country in the world and the world's smallest continent.

Australia's population is concentrated along the eastern and southeastern coasts. People usually flock there because it is where many useful resources are found. The civilization is also centered in that part of the country.

Climate is one of the most notable positive things about Australia's geography. Like in the Northern regions of the world, the Land of Oz is experiencing four seasons namely Winter, Summer, Spring and Fall. But there is a twist, the entire country or all the Australian states are experiencing four seasons a year. Again, this is due to the country's geographical location. Larger part of Australia is desert or semi-arid wherein 40% of the landmass is covered with sand dunes. Overall, the country only receives 600 millimetres a year. Antarctica is the only region that has lesser rain amount than Australia. Referring to the country's geography, there are four reasons why Australia has a dry landmass. 1) Cold ocean currents off the west coast, 2) Low elevation of landforms, 3) Dominance of high pressure systems and 4) shape of the landmass.

Snow usually fall in the mountains of Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Tasmania. And this happens in mid year not every December.

The Australian government is taking advantage of the location. Since they are in a diverse environment, they use the natural resources to invite more immigrants or visitors. Australia won't be a very nice tourist spot if not for its geography. The best example here is the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. The island is surrounded by bodies of water. The bodies of land has very nice climate. These are things that Australia is thankful of nature.

Immigrants want to travel to a country that is easy to reach and has a pleasant surrounding. Climate and environment are big factors along with politics and security. Australia is really a better country. By reading more Australian immigration information, not just about visas but down to the core, you will find many reasons why immigration to Australia is a better choice.
